'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming
Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently two years through the four-year deal he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden major achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he previously was, and would certainly think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
